Virgin Atlantic Boosts Manchester-Orlando Flights

Updated: 24 Jun 2013 : 07:30:10 AM

There are going to be 30,000 more return seats to Orlando from Manchester Airport next summer 2014.

Orlando, one of Virgin Atlantic’s flagship destinations, has such a high demand for travel the airline is adding a Boeing 747 aircraft every one of it’s 11 weekly flights from Manchester Airport, the UK’s northern gateway.

This means an additional 2,000 seats available to the sunny state of Florida.

Boeing 747 Aircraft

Orlando has always been one of the British’s most popular destinations for a holiday.

These new aircraft will carry as many as 10,000 passengers every week.

This confirms Virgin Atlantic’s commitment in expanding in Manchester after the recent addition of the Little Red domestic service operating four daily return flights from Manchester Airport to London Heathrow.

Upper Class &Premium Economy†

The new Boeing 747 will have all the Virgin Atlantic’s award winning Upper Class as well as Premium Economy and Economy product available on the Airbus.

These were all recently refitted with touch screen in-flight entertainment systems, new seats and mood lighting in all cabins.

This is a wonderful opportunity for passengers to fly from Manchester on four daily flights to London Heathrow along with the expansion of their operations after the launching of their first ever domestic flight this Easter.

Plan your holiday trip to sunny Orlando now.

As popular as flights are, seats are sure to fill up fast but with the additional seats, it will be easier than before to get a flight.

Baggage Claim

Your flight arrives at the Orlando International Airport on what is referred to as the B side.

[There are only 2 sides: A and B].

You will depart the Airplane and proceed to Customs and Immigration, on the B side.

Once you have completed processing through Customs and Immigration, please,  proceed to the A side of the Airport.

Whether you are pulling your luggage, or, you are going to the carousel to retrieve it, AGAIN, follow the signs and go to the Ground Level  on the A side.

The Baggage Carousel marked  A 08  is your destination.

A good location indicator to look for is the Dollar Rental Car Center on Ground Level  A side.

Your baggage area is across from there.

Located inside the Airport there are uniformed employees and information desk clerks.

You may ask any of these individuals for assistance to reach your designated baggage area.

Information desk clerks will also be able to alert your taxi driver that you are heading to baggage claim.

It may take some time for you to clear customs.

Alerting driver from information desk helps coordinate tour airport transfer.
